IT's nice but to figile! I had a fusion with a RB C5 21 circuit motor.I converted it to a single speed for top end. I cut the chasis for bump start.
Are you looking for more speed?

I tried it in both the fusion and the menace. It was insane in both, but the fusion almost handled it better. At least it would lose some sickness to wheelspin, but the menace wheelies and is hard to tame. never seen a menace wheelie before.

big block 28 with the high speed clutch bell on the fusion = crazy fun. jmo

fusion fragile? LOL. Please show me a high performance touring car that fits a .21,a 3-speed and is tougher. Traxxas, HPI or CEN. LOL. Any car will break parts when you hit something at 80mph.

I have found my fusion to be very solid appart from 1 part which is the lower front wishbone. That said though it has only ever broken becacuse of my driving technique... or lack of it =P

im not sure why the plastic dogbones come standard on a car with a bigblock... but they do make steel cvd's for it.

...........................Alot of the guys over in england have been putting alloy parts on theirs from the R-12 and optional parts. I have broken very few parts so far my Fusion is very durable but no car as fast as the Fusion is , is going to be indestructable.

I was going to buy alot of alloy for my cars, but the car really doesnt need it. I have had so many highspeed roll overs and flips recently. Never broke nothing more than 1 wheel, a couple ball cups or some other part that cost nothing to replace. I dont even know what i would buy next as far as another car other than the serpent 720. This car is the best of street racing and drag racing with a few mods done and very durable unless you hit a solid object at high speed. (been there)
