Not bad at all. But why do they insist on using small wheels and shiny covering?! Still, I'm glad to see they put flaps on it. And very nice gear doors

Well,
I just looked at the Kyosho P-40 in RC Country Hobbies in Sacramento.
If the P-40 is any indication of the KI-61s quality, then the Tony will make a good candidate for beefing up for a warbird racer IMO. And the price of the P-40 was fair IMO at $150.00 US.

Just a bit off on the profile, not nit-picking but it looks a bit swollen compared to the real deal. Canopy is way off. This is also one of my favorite Japanese fighters, maybe some of our more true to scale manufacturers will do this one justice. KMP, you looking? Maybe if they had added the cockpit bracing it would look better?

Wow! Not too shabby. Many years ago I had the Pilot (kit)25 size Hien and it was a great flier. Didn't have retracts on it though. I just may have to get one. I 've already got the engine for it. A shame about the canopy though.
