I use the 260 as a sport plane because I can't do the 3D stuff ... its a great sport plane and will roll endlessly without any correction, loop beautifully etc etc etc ... its an amazing ship. WHen my buddy flies it, it will do all of the 3D stuff too .... you won't go wrong here. The 480 has plenty of authority with the 12 x 6 prop. ENjoy it!

You should be able to fly the 260 easily, she is very smooth and cruises doing all aerobatics with ease and precision, and it will 3D when you want it to

Change the hinges to hinge points or similar, the CA hinges work fine but are too stiff for the little servos to fight against, especially on 3D rates.I use S 75's.

im sorry but wat are hing points, just wondering as i will be using the same servos all around looking forward to see that video to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im sooooooooooooo excited!!! lol j/p not that excited just alittle.

Its the second hinge on that page. They are a bit tricky to get in porperly, but once installed there is almost no resistance, and the surfaces can move very freely, without robbing the servos of torque. Some melted vaseline or oil in the center part will help from getting glue in the mechanism.I have used the larger version of this type, but never the tiny ones for park fliers.I assume they will work equally.
I will shoot some video tomorrow.
I think the pinned hinges would work well too.
I ordered my second 260 already jut in case they sell out

Hinge points work great. Very easy to install and almost no friction.

Never had any problems either, but they do strain the little servos, because there is resistance (which will lessen as the CA hinges wear in).I have used them for almost 2 decades on .40 to 1.20 size planes, which obviously have more powerful servos.
My #2 will get hingepoints and possibly one servo on rudder with a bit more torque, since I have really enjoy the KE capabitlies of this 260.
I had a glitch early today while at a park and had a rather rough landing.I doctored her up quickly and let her rip tonite,3 awesome flights. When I took it back to the pits,I noticed a big gap from the fuse to wing root.It seems that the glue joint had worked or broke loose from stress. This is the tab that bolts to the fuse with a 4-40 screw, this tab pulled out of the wing, but the antirotating pins were long enough to keep it from shifting (whew)
This might be something to keep an eye on,if you fly it hard or have a mishap
On another note I tried an APC 12x6E prop,it worked fine, but I am switching back to the APC 12x6 Slow flyer prop,it seems to put out much more low end thrust. My motor is a 910KV 480,the E prop maybe better for a 1200KV or higher, not sure, never had a high KV 480.

they'll work fine, but if you need optimum torque from the servos, hinge points work more freely.
Less current drain,longer flight times

Has anyone felt the need to correct the thrust angle with a cuople of washers on the motor mount? Seems like mine would benefit from some right thrust...

Yes,I put one washer for more right thrust in there for now.
