yeah, its just the exhaust from the cylinder before it gets to the turbo, one problem with that though is the turbo is still spooling and can suck cold air in, well only in vary rare crappy fabbed situations, and everyone knows what happens when cold air hits a blistering turbo.... lol. i had a rfl blow off valve on the evo i totaled. that was pretty fun, and im planning on some huge blow off set up on the twin turbo cummins im going to build when i sale my f250

Been thinking about this idea for some time. I have a '06 dodge ram hemi 5.7L. I have the $$$$ and I'm planning on turning it into a 1,200 HP beast. Think the TT's will work with the engine and how many MPG's do you think I'll get if I go with this crazy idea?

By the way any of you guys have a SC or TT? Post pics.

ok first of all bro if ur plannin on turnin that baby into a 1200 horsepower beast then dont even worry about how many miles per gallon you will get!!! and second of all if it was me i would go with the supercharger!!! first and formost its tradition!!! if ur gonna get an american put a supercharger on it!!! thats just my oppinion though!! but they do have their pros and cons both of thiem im not sayin a supercharger is better but im not sayin a turbo is better either!!! i would say see what ur gonna get go for the 1 with the most hp if u can afford the gas lol

ok .. time for some real experience here guys.. No bench racing.. The block will never take 1200 hp (or at least not for long) but if you do want the best setup it would have to be twin turbos. Smaller turbos will give you less lag so that you can run a tighter converter which would be more streetable.. In reality IF you had endless $$ you may expect up to 700 hp using twin turbos... and be streetable.. and + plus with turbos that you cannot do with a supercharger is adjust the boost at any time you wish... Thats a big plus.. you can run pump gas and crank down the boost. Change to race gas OR use alcohol injection and crank up the boost.

But do you better have deep pockets.

BTW- my GN run 11.7 and has 545 hp.. on race gas and slicks and boost at 23 psi.. and I still can drive it in bumper to bumper traffic with the ac on in 95 degree temps
