I used Met Red monokote which is a close enough to match the candy red - there is nothing in film that is a perfect match but it's as close as some other color matches I've seen. I am planning on doing a fully painted plane this winter with the same candy red paint. I've also got some $300/pt candy yellow that I am using on my personal planes now....

just got the word from horizon services that my radio is fixable/saveble, will only cost me 100 bucks and I will have it this saturday with my program intact. They also told me I'm lucky that it didn't burn my house down. I am not going to mention who sold me that crappy battery, but rest assured I have learned a lesson regarding future purchases....

So whatever I don't get shipped before we leave for the nats, we'll ship when we get back. As it stands, all existing orders should ship before the end of the month. So get ready for the magic!

The Red VF3 had it's madien flight today. Arch had the honors, I'll let Arch and Mike go into the flight details, but the first flight went off perfect. Arch had the plane trimed quickly and had an outstanding flight including a number of very low knife-edge passes. We are at Arch's super secrect practice site somewhere in Ohio

The plane flew great... Mike and I are very happy, more details soon...

Status: offline 		Plane flew great....almost exactly like mine. Rates and such were taken from mine and the plane just locked. The CG is a hair further forward than mine, and it has zero mix with right rudder, and just a hair with left. Another incredible flying plane..
