Well, after years of use and abuse my beloved Hitec rapid charger (the one with the LCD display) has given up and bummed out. Question is what should I get now?
It needs to be able to field charge all type of battery. I don't need a discharger or anything thats gives me a analysis of condition etc etc.
Nice simple and able to charge 2 packs at the same time. Must have auto shut off and other basic safety options... and of course must be very high quality.
No need to double as a wall charger, it'll only be used on 12v and to refill charge radio/flight packs. Price, no option. Simplicity, a must...but no junk. Need some pro kit.
Cheers in advance.

Hi blabla, is this the Hitec CG-340 ? What went wrong ? Is it repairable ? I have the version without LCD and it has served me well so far on my NiCds.

I don't know if it's repairable...but it's seen many, many years of service so I'm not complaining.
Just time for an upgrade and was wondering whats state of the art in 2003?

f2racer, shud have been CG-330. The CG-335 comes with LCD. You're right that CG-340 doesn't come with LCD. Sorry for the error.......
