Just ordered new tires and rims along with the tuned pipe.Should be here in the next couple of days.I can get my bike to turn good but with some better tires I'm hoping to get it to hook up alot better. It doesn't matter what kind of vehicle your running tires are always the first thing you need to figure out.Once you find the right tire combination then it's time to move on to other things.I have done alot of experimenting to get the bike to handle better and now it's time to get some good tires. The bike works a whole lot better than it did when it came out of the box but still not where it needs to be.In bone stock form it really sucked compared to where it is now.

Parts came today.Mounted and installed tires and rims also put on the pipe.Man does it sound good.Spools up real nice but of course it's pouring rain out.Looking forward to seeing the difference with new tires and the pipe.

So are the bikes recomendable?
I have the option of buying a near new one off a mate. Would just be for carpark bashing. Is the front brake really needed and are they hard to work on?

They are a blast.I don't find them hard to work on but they do have a number of things that need to be done to make them realiable.I have the front brake and would say it's a deffinite advantage to have but not a must have option.I would recomend one to anyone with previous nitro experience. If inexperienced I would suggest an electric version.

I got balistic on mine and added a Trax 2.5 motor to it...Im still fine tuning the top in, at this point if you punch it. when it starts to top out it may bog at peak rpm...I love the bike but they are a pain in the butt working on

does anyone know of an electric conversion on the thunder tigre ducati 999. ive had enough with the nitro. would like to try brushless. My neighbours are tired of the noise. i already own the nitro version. i dont want to spend the cash on the electric version. to then convert it to brushless. any info would be great help!

You are too lean on the H needle that is a lean bog you are experiencing. Fatten up the H needle a 1/4 turn or more.

Finally got mine. Upgraded radio and servos and battery. Added front brake. Just waiting for some lots to dry up (snow melting) to take it for a test spin. Got the intigy back shock for it and it's a good 1/2" taller than the stock. Did you guys build an extension mount for it? or just installed like is. It puts the swing arm at quite the angle as is.

My neighbor gave me this today dont know much about it. Never messed with motorcycles plenty of cars trucks helis and Planes. It seems to work has some weird Bars on the side to prevent it from falling over i guess was wondering if it can be run without the bars on it it needs alot of work. things are loose and the front shocks Dont seem to work right. but Seems to be pretty Cool from what i can tell so far. Am i in the right thread?

I'm not real certain this is the same bike theres nothing on it except Ducati Testastrerra Sticker on the red fairing Has a duratrax radio in it and Jr racing servo for the steering. charged the battery up and ran it around the house a little seems like it will go fast. Has reverse. Wouldnt mind fixing it up and making it look better its looks like it has been beat on quite a bit. But i want to make sure i have the right motorcycle before i go buying the wrong stuff to fix it up.
