Thanks, Beenie.

If we were a larger company, it would be flying now. It's taking all of our resources right now to finish the sport jet, but soon, I'll be back on the King Air full blast. That really is my "baby", and I am excited to be this close.

Take care, and happy flying.

The name of the company that made some of the mooney R/C planes was Hotline Models. I have the mooney chapparal kit at home and there is one on e-bay as we speak.

Volume two of Paul Matt's drawings has Loving's Love. Not "plans" per se, but close enough! Check out Neal Loving's autobiography for more detailed pictures of it.

Just to add to the options, Piper Commanche fans can buy a Commanche and a twin Commanche from Jack Stafford.

I talked to Don Anderson (at GP) about an Ercoupe several years ago. He said that he has a bud that owns one and he really likes the plane. He said he would keep my suggestion in mind, but didn't make any real commitment to kitting the plane.

I just saw one of Messers 96" Ercoupes for sale at the Milwaukee swap meet. I would like to see a .40 to .60 size one kitted again.

Wow! Mike, that B200 looks great! I also have flown the full scale king air 350 and they are truely a great airplane. I am interested in your kit, for sure.

I also would like to see a Globe/Tempco Swift. I have never seen a model of this plane which is truely a shame. If anyone knows of one, please post a link.

Thanks, Derek.

We're behind schedule, but will produce the kit later this year. Just bear with us while we get started with a new company, and a small team.

Okay guys go to www.aircadkits.com and scroll down to the Dash Q-350 twin.

It is not a warbird - just a twin airliner.

Uses the GWS 350A motor/gearboxes - nothing exotic, but flies great.
He will be starting the production run shortly.
The planes is CNC routed from blue foam and the assembly instructions are from the cad drawings.

What do you think of it ?

Ohh, let me add that the above Mooney is completely geard to be a parkflyer, so it's a little off scale for the scale-nuts

Cathode.....

Have been flying and marketing a pair of much larger Mooney A/C for couple years now. Have the Mooney M-18 Mite in scale with 45 inch span, and the Mooney M-20-C Master at 72 inch span. Am going on to the Mooney Mark 21 at 96 inch span at present time.

I like Cessnas and Cubs too, but these kit manufacturers have to expand the envelope some. Maybe I am biased because I see a lot of General Aviation aircraft at the airport when I fly full scale.

I think the Commander 115 would make a great kit. It is a single engine, luxury personal transport in the same league as a Bonanza. And its mid mounted elevator makes it look great.

yeah, that 115 looks mean. the shot of the 1991 model for sale. wide stance, decent sized wheels. would be a nice model.

I have tried to conatact  Cambrian a couple of times about their ad at:
http://www.cambrianplanes.co.uk/ourshop/prod_819533-Mooney-201-Executive-rc-plane-kit.html
I have tried to contact them a couple of times and never got any replies.  I see the ad is still there.  Does anyone have this Mooney?

Eureka aircraft at
http://eurekaaircraft.com/sport.htm
offers a Mooney M20B  kit in a .40 size (62" wing span) in a kit or short kit.  Don bought out PAC models a few years ago and now sells the Mooney M20B that PAC used to offer.  He also offers a smaller .25 size Mooney M20B (50" wing span) in a semi kit too.

I have yet to see a model of a Mooney aircraft. I wonder if modelers even know what a Mooney is?

http://www.aopa.org/online_gallery/results.cfm?makeModel=Mooney%2C%20Encore

Jack Stafford had the Mooney 201.  Tri R and later GM Plastics took over from Tri R with a Mooney kit.  Aerotechmodels offered a set of plans for the Mooney.  PAC models sold a Mooney Mk21 which got bought out by and currently offered by Eurekaaircraft.com.  Don offers both the .40 size ( http://www.eurekaaircraft.com/eac_kits/mooney40.htm  that PAC offered and now also offers a .25 size Mooney MK21 model 20B ( http://www.eurekaaircraft.com/eac_kits/mooney25.htm  .  Hotlines also had a Mooney Chaparral in the mid 70's that shows up regularly.

I also ran across this ad a while back from 2 British companies (or is it just one company listing twice):
http://www.cambrianplanes.co.uk/ourshop/prod_819533-Mooney-201-Executive-rc-plane-kit.html
for a Mooney 201 but they do not answer inquiries.  I also ran into this link:
http://www.modelcraze.co.uk/ourshop/prod_668786-CA18-Cambrian-Mooney-201-Executive-kit.html

that lists the same Cambrian Mooney 201 but the odd thing is that both Cambrian and Model Craze list the very same
    179 Dudley Road
      Brierley Hill
       Dudley
       DY5 1HR
as their address.

Parkscalemodels lists a park flier Mooney 201 at:
http://www.parkscalemodels.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=10
and the build thread for it starts here:
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318185&highlight=mooney+parkflyer
