I'm a Nomadio fan all around. Yeah, not many shops even know the brand, but once they see em, they are impressed! I love my React to death, and wouldn't take anything over it. The guys at teh local will prolly say no since they have no experience with the radio anywhere, but someone has to start! The React has built-in telemetry, so your transceiver tells you engine temps, speed, and Rx volts along with your Tx volts. you have to get the temp and speed sensor separately, but they are really reasonably priced. Another thing is that the radio hooks up to your PC, and you tweak all the settings from their desktop program if your too lazy to use the radio LCD. the best part is that you can update your radio firmware and your receiver firmware with the desktop tool, so it never becomes outdated. Nomadio has THE BEST support on the market, and you can suggest improvements to their radios, and they actually listen. Also, the React is the fastest radio on the planet at 100MHZ, versus the spek which runs at 50mhz. yes, you will notice a difference between teh two with good fast servos.

I have a DX3 I have been running for over a year and like it a lot. Have not had any problems with it and I race just about every weekend. I am going to up grade to a Spektrum DX3R or a React this winter. What ever you get nothing I mean nothing compares to 2.4GHz!!!!!!!!!!!

Cool thing about the React is it will drive your spek receivers (in da slow mode 50Hz) or go Nomadio 100Hz mode and it will drive the Airtronics FHDSS 100Hz receivers we are working on the Futaba FHDSS 75Hz receivers but no release date if or when we will be able to talk to those receivers as well.

We do nave a new receiver coming out that is less $$. Nomadio is the only 2.4GHz system that will drive other brands of 2.4GHz receivers.

Don't really know what the best one is, but like 46u I use the
Spektrum DX3 and haven't had a problem.
I guess its pretty cool some of the others will drive different receivers,
I don't know why you would need this option, but I guess its pretty
cool to have unless it really drives the price of the radio up.

Because spek is slow and it does not have built in telem if you want telem you have to add all sorts of stuff an extra box in your receiver box the sensors and then mount the telm unit to your radio it is an afterthought at best..... Or if you do not want telem you can have a small receiver with no telem and no extra stuff. See your stuck at 50Hz like Black and White TV when you could have full color HD TV you just do not know what your missing out on 100Hz speed wise.
