Are digital servos worth considering for a 2nd plane?

I'm moving up from my faithful trainer, and I'm about to install a set of Futaba 3004 BB servos in a new Sig 4 Star 40 kit. Should I consider better servos or are they just for the precision aerobatics crowd?

better precision and holding power when you start judging yourself on flying it helps to have those. if you are banking and yaking then that is another story.......

The 4* certainly does not require digital servos. Save your money

I agree, they should be put on the shelf for a larger and or more precise flying bird.

If you whant precision use S3001's onle $20 a pop thats onle $5-$6 more than the S3004's jest use the 1's on aileron, elevator, and rudder . and a 4 on the throttle and you well be happy I have that set up on all of mine. AKA My Ultra Stick 40 and some ooun's at the felld He has digital's on his and I have 1's and a 4 we bothe have a 2500mha batt. he gets 3-4 flight's and I can get 10 flight's or moer and they fly the same ( wee both have the 4 aileron set up)
