I am thinking of building one of his planes(p-40) I thought that the fiberglas fuse would be a heck of a lot easier. What else whould you have to do internaly besides the firewall and all the other mounts. Do you have to still put in all the formers and stuff. What do you do to the inside.

Racer,

I haven't built the P-40, but have finished a fiberglass fuse Corsair. In addition to the firewall there are several additional internal formers to be installed mostly for stiffness and utility (mounting the tail wheel and servos).
The best thing about a fiberglass fuse is not having to plank and sand the skin. Also, if you are using latex, there is no real need to prime before final color coats allowing the tail to be built lighter (a real plus on most warbirds).
Unless you just like to sand, I would recommend fiberglass as the way to go.

Racer,
contact Ziroliplans.com, they have drawings that will show templates to make, and where to place the formers, in the glass fuse. Yes you should put all the formers in for the reasons mentioned above, as well as mounts for the tail wheel, and wing hold down/s. There arent that many of them.
