Hello everyone !! My Pitts Python & my boy's 50 cc Yak arrived the last couple days & they are absolutely beautiful planes !! No damage to anything in shipping as they really package them well . Now we hope with winter just around the corner, that they're ready to fly by spring !!

Thanks, John

Spring????

Those Aeroworks planes go together so fast and so straight, you should be in the air before Sunday! Good luck!

REYN, I know what you mean by them going together so fast !! We have them all together already, nothing glued yet or engines on yet, just to see what they look like !! I have to wait till income tax return time to get my engine . My boy has my old First Place 3.2 eng. for his & we should be getting that mounted pretty soon. We both have a lot of equipment to get yet, but we're shooting for spring. I sure hope this winter goes fast !!
Thanks, John

HA, The seats down pass through is 14 inches tall.... can I ask what is the height from the bottom of the main gear to the top of the airplane? maybe I can put the nose in first.

JAYC73, hope you keep us posted & also maybe a small enclosed trailer would work better !! That's my next goal for down the road as my truck is just too small for these planes !!
Thanks again !!
John

Hi, This looks like the perfect home for my DZY-50 Twin but I need to know if it will fit without butchering the sides of the cowl. The distance across the cylinder heads is 9 inches. Could someone measure the distance across the cowl at the end of the engine box please? If possible the distances from the centre of the engine box to cowl would be good.

Thanks
Gary

Gary I don't have time right now, but I will check it for you tomorrow night if no one else has. I am about 7 hours behind you.

Hi all! Did a quick scan of this thread and as far as I can tell i'm the only one putting a radial in one of these. Its going to be a little heavy, but it sounds like they all are. The 325 Saito fits perfectly in the cowl and I just happen to have one laying around. We'll see how it flys. Probably scale at best but oooooo that radial sound!!!

Mmmm sounds nice. You'll have to post some pics when you get it installed.
