alright ppl started buildn me a new hull today is some kinda water sealant and a varnish gonna be enough to protect the wood from the nitro and everything itll contact im runnin a 4 stroke so the nitro contents low i wanna do it cheap but right any help is appreciated

If its a wood hull you can just use Poly resin with or without fiberglass cloth or epoxy resin with or without fiberglass cloth . After that you sand it smooth and you can put on a coat of polyuretene (spelling) to bring back the shine .

If weight is a factor here ... and you are not wanting to add the extra weight from the resins ( and or cloth ) .... simply use a good primer ( I use Rustoleum brown primer ) and a good auto shaker can paint ( like DUPLO COLOR )
Any engine paints also work good .

Varnish is very good once its dry fuel will not harm it its water tight too lol
