Well my 27% yak showed today along with the Da50 and other stuff. I have done pull pull rudder setups in the past and found them somewhat a pain with weather and other stuff causing the tension to change sometimes. I was wondering if anyone has instead just mounted a servo near rear and used a pushrod for rudder?

Status: offline 		If you mount a servo in the rear, you will change the c/g of the plane. MY 86" came out a little tail heavy, so you would have to add weight to the nose. What I do is pre-tension the wire before installing it. Put one end in a vise and pull on the wire, stretching it out. This way, when you install the wire, it dosen't stretch.

Mounting the servo in the tail of our Yak is not a good idea for two reasons: 1. you need to do an extensive modification 2. you can have major problem balancing it.
Pull-Pull cables do stretch after first 5-10 flights but when you re-tighten them, it will take a while before they stretch again.
