Anyone know if you'll be able to do a data transfer to get all your settings from a 10X to a 12X?

ME too, also, already......

Many watching these threads know that I have been almost militantly-confident that JR was *not* going to go where they have, believing instead it would be Spektrum.

I don't mind fessin' up when I have been proven wrong.
Guys, in THIS CASE - for sure - I was DEAD wrong.

So will Spektrum continue the "modules" to get the existing market share of JR - module-based radios whilst JR takes the market of "ground up" 9 and 12 channels "systems"????

I'm thinking ----------- YES --------- guys, these are really exciting days in RC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just in case anyone was wondering, my understanding is that the Spektrum systems are actually JR.

A good product targeted for the 9ch arena. After next weeks swap meet, I should be in position for the new 9303 from JR. Good things are happening this year ..............Greg

I am a big JR fan and currently own a 9X and 10X (aero version). I think the 12x looks ace

It's nice to see that their new flagship transmitter now caters for both fixed wing and helis as it was a bit of a con paying all the money for the 10x and it only doing the one discipline. But it is a massive shame that they appear to have ditched their touch screen for the 12X, why have they chosen to do this?

I also note that they have decided to make the 9X either fixed wing or heli specific.

I also am a bit surprised they have not got a 14 channel version with a nice colour screen to rival Futaba 14MZ, or is there something in the pipeline?

I know danny from JR and crew will be at toledo (enroute as I type) answering many of these questions and our crew will do a product interview on these products which should answer many of them and when Danny and the rest of the crew return back to HQ they will be on here to field any questions missed.

Damn damn damn JR. Have always had and loved Futaba but there offerings of a 6 channel and a 14 are both extremes in both function and price. Spektrums offerings wer just under the mark but a 9 channel setup is my maximum need. Looks like it might be a trip to JR town and wave goodbye to Futaba for 2.4ghz. ( and I am not talking about Mr Ewing down at Dallas either!!!)

Futaba are producing a 2.4ghz 12channel set try :-

Yep, I'll stick with my 9CAP a while longer... I get the feeling I'm going to be able to get some new Futaba 9 channel PCM receivers CHEAP!

Not sure on that, but they have set it up so you can go from a 72-9303 to the new 2.4 9303.

Looks like the 9 channel has mechanical trim on the throttle. Hope they stay with that. Bob
