Hi, welcome to RCU . The intellispeed 12 turn reverse will fit in the identical spot that the sprint is on the evader.

Yes, the white is same as red + and blue is neg (black) I'm kinda cheap and like to use the tower hobbies 14 turn motors. Others here will be able to recommend a 12 turn.

Hmm, 14 turn on 6 or 7 cells is pretty good. Maybe 26 mph depending upon gears.

Since esc can be called anything and motors can be different names as well, This is what you should go by. It isn't exact, but is the most reliable:

Make sure the esc limit is lower than the motor turns.

Example, an 8 turn esc can run 8 turns and above motors. (8-27 turns)

Sure, I think that would work fine and have to be geared probably the lowest to take advantage of the high rpm. Maybe a 13 tooth pinion if it'll fit in chassis.

It will be easier to just go by the turns and not worry about whether it is called "modified" or "stock"

the terms can get cloudy, but stock might refer to 27 turns, 19 turns, any turns, unremovable end-bell. And Modified may refer to any turns below 27 or perhaps removeable end-bell.

It is rare to label an esc either way, but If I had to label the intel 8 turn esc then I'd call it "modified"
