Status: offline 		hi erik, you should start with the original cg, it flies great loke that...if you are going to make some 3d... you can add a couple of oz.

Status: offline 		I decided to use the scrap tubing from the tail servos to run the throttle servo wire through. Did anyone have a better idea?

Status: offline 		I flew one of these today with a magnum 52 on a tower muffler and it had great power. much better vertical than my buddies OMP edge with OS 55. It was a great budget setup. How much right thrust are you all adding? The one I flew didn't have any and it pulled vvey hard to the left on uplines.

Status: offline 		I have just finished the Radical 330. I ended up with a weight of 4.3 pounds. I am using an OS 46SF 2-stroke engine with an APC 12.25x3.75 Prop. Looking forward to flying, once the winds lighten up.

Status: offline 		I finished mine about a week ago AUW was 4.5 lbs with the tower hobbies .46 apc 12x4, flew it yesterday with very hard winds, about 15 to 18mph gust. It flew great didn't have to trim anything and the pullout with the tower was nice, was not a rocket though. Did a couple dead sticks because I couldn't get my muffler to stay tight the long screw that goes through and holds the three pieces to gether kept comming lose. eventualy it fell off in the air... LOL . That engine has been through a coulple crashes runs great though just got to get a new muffler, I'm gonna go with one of the OS ones they run more quiet. it needs a little aft cg for the more extreme stunt flying but with the recommended it flys alright. I'm gonna get one more for spare cant beat the price I paid 58.00 shipped from tower ( used a 10 dollar off of 50.00 coupon, googled it. had all the parts layin around, put it together in one night. I'll get some video next time I go out... You can go crazy with this thing! My first time with a profile that flew, the first one I had I got it from a swap meet and it had pull pull all around took it up and it came right back down HARD . I it had been through a crash before.

Status: offline 		If you can get one I would stick with the tower muffler on your engine. Just JB weld your old one back together. The OS mufflers are heavier and make considerably less power. You may lose as much as 1500rpm. The only way to make more power than the tower muffler is with a pipe or maybe an ultrathrust muffler but they will both be heavier. A mousse can would be ideal.

Status: offline 		Thanx I'll just get a new tower muffler there cheaper anywayz. I flew mine with the OS muffler and I did feel the power loss but i didn't think anything of it...

Status: offline 		I found some video you might enjoy. http://rcfunflyers.com/ This is no 3D monster but I think it might be a lot of fun for 70 dollars. I have the Extreme 330 with Super Tiger 51 and it will flat spin like in the video. It looks like Jason has a Saito on his. I think that's what it takes to get it to hover. Lots of wing rock though.

Status: offline 		I tried to fly my Radical 330 for the first time last week. I purchased a used OS46FS that I felt would be a good one. Well, I usually do not purchase used engines and this one has problems in the carb or something. The good thing was that I did not pay very much for this engine. I was unable to get it running correctly on the ground, so no flight.

I ordered an OS 55AX with an APC 13x4 Prop. I will have it here Wednesday. Hope to fly Thursday.

I have an E. F. Chinn Yak on order. I thinking aboout canceling. It just might be a little to advanced for my 3-D level. Thinking about the OMP Fusion or Edge. I understand they are good manchines to learn on.
