USPS... just gotta remember "They're from the Government, and they're here to help you!"

On a follow-up, I'm in the process of working out a deal with O'briens to trade the servo they sent me by error for a programmer. Sent him an email this morning asking whether the Programmers were in stock yet, and got an answer within 10 minutes. Looks like things may be improving there.

I must be one of the 4 unresolved cases. I can't even get a reply to emails and this has been going on for 3 months

Well, nothing yet. I was told this would go out Priority mail on Thursday, so I should have had it by now. Maybe tomorrow. It's been 3 months...what's another day

Jwest--Man I feel your pain. Mine took two months then 1/2 the order. Got the other half with no trouble. Call Doug and ask him to give you the UPS track number while on the phone. That worked for me. Luck.

yep, get on the phone with him and do some serious "negotiations", i.e. either ship it now or deal with the law. I thought the guy was starting to get it together, but I guess not...

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I will be giving him a call and see what's what. I really hate doing this over about $35 worth of stuff, but it IS my $35 we are talking about

I talked to Tim today at O'Briens. He said my kit was mailed out on Tuesday First Class mail. Hopefully I will have it in a day or so and if so it does mean that they are working to correct previous problems. I will confirm I received it here

$35 kit? Small plane? First class mail? They said they quit using USPS due to the problems. First it's Priority mail on 5/17, then it's First Class on 5/22. Sounds like song & dance again. Good luck.

BTW - See posts #27, 37 & 40. Didn't last long.

I gotta agree... and it seems that SCALENUT52 (I think he's the owner of O'briens), seems to have vanished from the thread!

I don't know what threads Doug is reading BUT he logged on yesterday afternoon so I'm guessing he is reading this thread. He's just ignoring you.

IF he did mail it on the 22nd it could well take this long to get to you. The USPS is just not that reliable as to speed which is why Doug said he switched to UPS. He just about had his reputation patched up. It would be a shame to trash it again now.
