But Great Planes, well "connected" to Tower, is the U.S. Distributor for Futaba, although there may be others. And O'Brien is probably getting them from Great Planes, so I sincerely doubt that they'll have them anytime before Tower does... Let alone the fact that O'brien's track record has been 'less than stellar' according to posts on several forums, not just RCU. I'd stick with what I know.. Tower. I learned my lesson

Hi Everyone,

Tower is Great Planes, which is Futaba, which is hobbico, yes. It's all the same umbrella. As of Friday these radios were due the end of October, they are now due Late November as you all can see. IT JUST CHANGED, so we changed our ad as well. AND, informed everyone that has pre-ordered one from, the same news.

Doug:

It's been a couple of months since I ordered the GWS F-15 from you, and I'm still waiting for a tracking number
or an airplane, whichever comes first.

Thank you,
Chris Shaker

That's why I started it! and on top of it all, most vendors will match their price, since it's advertised on the net.

I got a tracking number from Doug today, so am looking forward to seeing the model in a few days.

I wonder if this is another case where contact would have been more efficient using the phone instead
of relying on email?

I just hope the number he gave you is good because others received tracking numbers from them that were not any good.
Phone would not have helped they just don't get the concept of custome service.

The tracking number he gave me once turned up to be for a package going to the other side of the country! Still took another month to get the merchandise. Good Luck!

I had to call him on the phone and wait on the line untill I got UPS label numbers. When my order finally shipped, it was only half an order. I consider myself fortunate to get him to repeat the process. This was during the time they were having "Postal difficulties" and using UPS to "catch up" on "orders." There was guy from Israel that I was PMing with during all this. he had ordered an ARF of some kind. Wonder if he ever got is plane.

Got the GWS F-15 today, in excellent condition. O Brien Hobbies double boxed it, with peanuts all around it.

The price I was quoted on this GWS F-15 with the brushless inrunners is quite a bit cheaper than from BP
Hobbies, and is cheaper than the last price I saw from Tower Hobbies. I've looked over all of my credit card
statements, for the past few months, and don't yet see any charges from his establishment.

I've had some items on order with better known suppliers for a couple of months, too. It isn't like my
life depended on getting this F-15 model. So, I'm not upset with O Brien Hobbies. In the scheme of
things, this wasn't a big deal.

quit selling b-25s 120 cheaper than list price. you are doing damage to a lot of LHS. Horizon and tower dont discount this deep. you bought a lot of them but still come on . sell for what we all are paying
