The T-28 is 4ch (ail, rud, throt, elev).

DragracerArt,

I considered the spit but the trojan has brushless, rudder, lipo (w/charger), and is unique. There are TONS of spit ARF's out there but hardly any Trojan's. I have decided the wait is worth it. eBay has spits and mustangs for $175 shipped with an extra NiCd or NiMh but the Trojan is still a better buy!

I will wait, although I am impatient.

Can anyone verify what radio the trojan will come with? Horizonhobby specs says 5 channel, but the model number (zx10) listed on Horizonhobby appears to the same 3 channel that comes with the Supercub, and finally the Horizonhobby parts list shows this one: http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=PKZ4341
but doesn't give any specs.

What is the scoop?

According to the specs listing at myrcsupply, it's a 5 ch. It would have to be at least a 4ch.

I saw that, but look up zx10 transmitter at horizonhobby and you see the 3 channel supercub radio...

The problem is I've seen so many mixed messages. It obviously has at least a 4 channel.

At the start of this thread, I had to do some research and made some calls and was told about the 5ch radio. The ZX10 radio system seem to be a 3 wire upgraded of the old 5 wire servo radio setup. Because the radio that comes with the Spitfire and the new J-3 Cub Brushless also has a 3ch ZX10 3 wire system. Just like hitec's Lazer brand but, they also have Optic brand too. Check this out, the T-28 Trojan Instruction Manual has the radio in it. I even printed it so I could study before I get it. T-28 Trojan Instruction Manual, check out steps 7 and 8.

Have a lot of y'all had good luck with this MyRCSupply guy?
The prices seem a bit too good to be true.
Instinct tells me that if it seems that way, then it probably is.
I'm thinking of buying a Spitfire airframe, and not only is he cheaper, but Horizon says they are sold out.
Opinions?

I've heard good things about them sofar, I'm certain that you will find someone over in Parkzone Supermarine Spitfire Mk11B Forum that may have bought one. The rep from earlier in this post seems to be vary helpful.

I did a limited amount of checking around, and didn't find anything negative anywhere.
I went ahead and ordered a replacement airframe for a PZ spit today.
I flew my PZ P51 into a flag pole, damaging the wing, fuse, gearbox, firewall, etc.
The price for a complete spit airframe with motor gearbox and prop was less than all the parts needed to fix the 'stang.
All my electronics are fine. Besides, I ordered an extra battery pack and some upgraded connectors last week, which
would be useless without an airplane to use them in.

I'll report here on RCU how it goes with the order. Sure can't beat those prices!

I am going to cancel my T-28 order, tired of waiting. Maybe I will order once they are released and I see positive reviews.

I will definatly check with MyRCSupply.net because their prices seem way too good to be true.

Hope everybody gets theirs before Christmas, it sure looks like a nice bird.

I have purchased from myrcsupply.net in the past. I can tell you from first hand experience that you wil NOT find anyone that has better prices combined with EXCELLENT customer service. The Rep that has posted in here---He OWNS the place...They have ALWAYS responded back to any questions sent via email within 30 mins. and when I decided to cancel my T28 order, they put my paypal $ back within seconds of recieving my request...Its too bad parkzone is dragging their tail on this bird. However its not myrcsupply fault.

I realize I am causing this thread to drift away from the T-28. Sorry.
I just want to say that my Spit airframe from myrcsupply arrived quick,
undamaged and they have provided good communication. I will
certainly consider them in the future.

Try again....

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=PKZ4400

Maybe in time for "Trick or Treat"

What a disappointment....Anyone have any idea on what the hold up is? Maybe its the landing gear They are not used to making a plane with wheels......

I hope you find this information helpful. If you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact us at 1-877-504-0233.

I've been waiting for the PZ T-28 sence june, It was pre-ordered for my fathers day gift and now it seems as though I'm get it for my birthday oct 25. I even started a forum page back in april for the T-28. I'm seeing alot of people loosing the trill, from waiting for this aircraft. It would be nice if a rep would drop a line or two, to keep us focused on this plane.

Thanks for the update...Almost sounds like the guy is a robot...As if we had no idea where to look for disappointment....I am thinking of canceling my order AGAIN..

What else can I buy to stay excited?? I already have flown : Super Cub, Stryker B and C, Typhoon, Spitfire, FW190 and P-51. Maybe I will buy a boat

Yea, I did the deed yesterday...Gonna buy a Supervee 27. Might pick up the trojan after they finally release it and everyone has had a chance to figure out what is wrong with it to make them keep delaying the release...

The motor is a 1.9x2.16 in 600kv 950watt[it looks to be the hxt 50-55b 600kv], 60amp esc, and a 5s 5000mah lipo. my plane should wiegh around 6.2lbs. I am hoping to get around 90+mph with it.

I am flying a eflite p-47 right now with a park 480 in it[175w per lb] if the trojan flys any thing like the p-47 it will be the best rtf warbird on the market.
