Roy,

That is awesome. Let me know when you test fly and I'll video it for you. I wish I had rebuilt my darn Wildhare when I crashed it after looking at your rebuild. DUHHHHHH!

Craig

Looks good.

Do you have space to put the smoke tank on the CG?

Did you see the rebuild pics?I just lost time flying it during the rebuild process.
Plane is now rebuilt and waiting on remaided flight.
So it was not lost, just down for repairs.

Remaiden the Patty today.Went through all range checks and checked CG.Range checked good from about 50 paces from plane.
Went a few more paces and plane started glitching, then a few more paces and glitching quit.
Thought was ok. Flew plane.Trimmed with about 4-5 clicks up elevator(nose heavy)and 4-5 clicks right aileron.
Was coming by to make a fly by and elevators glitched twice on my downline.Backed off engine to do a go around and land.
Started my bank to the left to go around and ailerons glitched hard to the right.got it recovered and finished my
go around to land.Had to come in a little hot,my idle trim was too high,so I flipped the throttle cut,off and on,to slow the engine.
Got it to touchdown, but still too fast, flipped the throttle cut,but would not shut engine down.Went to turn to slow it down before I
run out of runway.Plane nosed over onto the prop and shut off engine. No damage except for my nerves .
JasonInAugusta took some pics.Hopefully he got some good pics.

thanks Roy

'Tbolt... you again did a great job of salvaging your airplane. You're either a great pilot or a heck of a good storyteller... . Just kidding. I took your side earlier.
Anyway are you flying PCM? The reason I asked is because you said you did range check your radio. I used to do it the same way as you. If you are flying PCM check this out...
http://www.jrradios.com/Articles/Article.aspx?ArticleID=1079
Granted it's JR and I'm taking for granted your system. My range checks always came out OK and never had a problem (JR XP9303 tx 2100rx). After I found this I tried it. Got almost 300 feet with the engine off, then only 90 with engine on. Reworked some interior routing and the antenna, and got the engine off up to 340 and engine on to 290. Article goes into detail. Let us know what you found out!

I just was lucky it did not glitch as much as it did. Radio is a Futaba 9CAP.Receiver is a R149DF.
S3004 on throttle and choke.6 Futaba S3050 servos,2 on aileron,2 on rudder and 2 on split elevator.
2 JR 6.0V 1500 NiCD packs with HD switches. All extensions are HD.This is a new receiver.Installed it after rebuild.Receiver in plane when crashed still works.I will reinstall and do a ground range check with it.I may have to convert my Zenoah to
electronic ignition. It still has the magneto ignition on it that could be the problem.

Rest of the shots are junk. I changed lenses and had trash on the lens.

Here's one prior to the remaiden...
