?! Spur rounded off?! Did you not set the mesh correctly?! Because it should take the power fine...

No worry, a new spur will get you back running!!!

tried this straight after driving the M-03R w MM 4600kv.. and this thing absolutely flew! until i heard a grinding sound.. i stopped straight away..

got it inside.. and there was dust in the motor housing.. in just a split second, the spur had been rounded off.. TA-03 TRF = garaged..

the mesh was fine (if a little tricky to achieve) maybe a crash moved it slightly out of sync? ive seen the part on ebay, although you have to buy a tree of parts.. they come as a gear set..

Maybe you can run some aftermarket spur gears?! Maybe no such luck...

Ha, okay, guess you won't be able to get that from other companies then...

just done an essential anti-cogging measure.. braided the motor/ESC cables and re-tie wrapped everything.. (must work well as i get almost no cogging in the M-03R)

also mounted the RX on the Mamba Max packaging (some high density foam to lessen vibration) knew that would come in useful!

also adjusted toe in (a bit less) after pic was taken.. forgot to install red belt though..

ive also just realised that there is a black spur in the box, although it has fewer teeth, this thing is plenty fast enough as it is though..

had a good 10 minutes run earlier and the ESC and motor were pretty hot, it passed the '3 second test' but i would like it to run cooler.. might try the black pinion..
