Glad to see fellow modelers from Georgia have a pasion for ag planes. Let me introduce myself; My name is Travis and I cohabitate in the heart of the Mississippi Delta-that's right, Cotton and Rice Country. My beginings were on a family farm where the first agplanes were 'butchered Cubs' then the Pawnee appeared. Later Cessna came up with the idea of the AG WAGON then later the AG TRUCK. I have flagged quite a few times putting out fertilize on wheat and rice or spray on cotton. Later with improvements came the old AG CATS with their radials along with the SNOWS and THRUSHES. Now everybody has gone to turbines since the gas flowa for 1200 hp radials was around 90 gallons per hour and turbines burn cheaper fuel at 60-70 gph. Enough history on ag planes. I had a Cessna 188 AgWagon by Great Planes a while back and it flew great with a 46 on the nose. Even went to the trouble of scratch building a fertilize spreader (non-fuctional) for it. Got crazy and sold it. The AG WAGON will be a great plane to customize as there are several here that I can use as examples. Orange, red, green, yellow were pretty much the standard colors and with the introduction of the AG TRUCK came a red, white and blue paint combination. Most have the spinners the same color as the trim with a few pilots giving in to the chrome spinners. OK, R.C. Guys, I see the Decatholon and it is a winner, SO......LETS GET THE AG WAGON UP AND FLYING.....Travis in Miss. Delta
