I spoke with Dan via email last week, and he said they would be working on the manuel the next couple of weeks. Then out to the field for more flying. Hopefully we'll get more video soon. Same with the Aghusky. Great looking airplanes! Who would've thought we'd have two Cessna's come out about the same time? I'm lovin' it!

Worthy Bump...keep the thread from

Dang forums erased posts in last glitch...oh well.

Check out the new Austers thread...188 AgHusky...110 inch... http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7350980/tm.htm

Been there. Unfortunately, as I understand it, the Ag Husky won't be out for a while. Trying to pry info out of Glen as to where the U.S. Distributor will be. I think he's searching.....
Anyway, this bird will be out in the distant future. I agree, music, 'distant' is an ugly word, BUT...at least we have something to look forward to. A couple of years ago our options were very few.

Is this the production model? If so how do think the quality and completeness is?

Hi Steve

Dan Speers sent me this pic today. They are working on completing the manual. I can't speak for the quality and completeness yet, as I do not have the model in hand. But I do believe that RCguys would not put out a bad quality ARF. This should be a real winner!

mmmm... maybe Austers could be the Australian supplier of the RC Guys AgWagon and RC Guys could be the North American supplier of the Austers AgHusky! [)] Sounds like a situation where everyone wins (except those of us with limited finances ).

Outacontrol41,

Today is May 1st and maybe our boat has arrived, the one with all of the Ag Wagons on it. I am fortunate enough that an ag pilot and farmer lives a mile or so from me that has a newer-reconditioned-Ag Wagon that is still in use. It's moan can be heard early in the morning starting another day and I will be definately visiting him for information and detail. Way to Go Dan and the whole RC Guys team, definately hats off......Travis [)]

Hey Travis, you should send us some pics and/or video of that Agwagon you're talking about.

Musiccityfan,

Soon as I can get the plane here and quit drooling over it, my next priority will be to get some mug shots of the hopper, spreader and associated servos to operate it on the net. I always wanted a '51 and have a Hanger 9 P-40 rtf but now these ag planes are the new 'bug-birds' rather war-birds of 2008. I've seen way more of the agplanes than '40's and '51's flying low passes here in the Miss. Delta.....Travis

P.S. Now that we have the Ag Wagon and an Ag Huskey, could we get a Grumman Ag Cat???
Wouldn't that be Too Cool!!!!!
