I don't think your gonna find that answer till the prototype flies...........I'm sure the fellas at RCGUYS have a pretty good idea what engine range will be............they just aren't ready to tell you.

Its like Outacontrol41 says..........the Ag Wagon will probably have a lot of similiarities with the Decathlon.........its about the same size airframe.......span and most likely weight............would follow that engine requirements would overlap somewhat.

Stay tuned though.........Mr. Speers is watching and listening......................

Nice fleet........very nice

But, your gonna have to tell the wife to start parkin her car outside when you get the Pawnee and the Ag Wagon into service. You need more hangar space..............don't tell her about the planes though.
Tell her you saw a big RAT........really BIG RAT.......in there, and you don't think its safe to park the car in there till you catch it...............may take years............other guys may weaken and just give up..........not you.........you'll stay up late, workin on planes, just in case the filthy beast make a fatal mistake..........you..........ever vigilant...........will be there....................she's a lucky woman.................tell her I said so..........

Thanks, though in reality I'm the lucky guy 'cause she puts up with me and my uncurable illness to own more planes. There's no lack of room in my new shop and she knows it. She gave up a long time ago keeping an eye on my spending habits for this hobby....she figures 'why bother? He wants it he's gonna get it'. She just doesn't get into this. To my wife an Agwagon is that big red wagon the farmer pulls behind his tractor to spread manure with. An AgCat is the kitty that lives in the barn....you get the picture. Me on the other hand, I can't stand five minutes of Oprah.....but guess who watches it daily? This is probably very typical in most marriages.

My girlfriend keeps asking me isn't one plane enough?!?! She just doesn't get it. Just like she doesn't understand why I need a supercharger and 500hp for my Cobra. Maybe one day she'll understand. But by then I'll probably will not have room to store any more planes! Oh well one more plane can't hurt right!

I came across their site ,and thought i had seen some of their stuff here at RCU, but wasn't sure. ANYHOW ! Iv'e emailed them for current pricing etc. THAT 100" looks sweeeeeet ! ! and maybe I need one ! ? I think I'm turning into a COLLECTOR instead of a BUILDER ! I missed the Bid by $5 , on a Balsa USA FLY-BABY biplane, But have a 1/3 scale Fleet bi-plane on its way and also an 8' span GERE sport bi-plane. The Fleet is 102" or 111" . ? AND I'm about to throw my hands up in the air with Disappointment , With the guy cutting my AG-CAT ! I STILL DON"T HAVE IT ! ! ! ! ! ! Unfortunatly he now has a very close / dear friend in the hospital , not knowing if they will make it !........ .......THAT plane was to be my "PET" project, and thats why I haven't started any thing ! I had hopedon having it DONE this YEAR ! ! MAYBE I should start a WHINING thread..... ANYway now I need to contact CHIEF and let them Know they sent me the wrong mufflers for my G62 and GT-80 , they came WITHOUT SMOKE ! LATER..................................................

I hope you didn't put any $$$ downpayment on the AgCat kit you're waiting for. If not....it's not too late to cut your own parts. The original Fitzgerald design was cut by hand as I'm planning to do. The only part that looks like a challenge will be the wing ribs. otherwise it looks like a simple build. I priced a kit from a well known and established kit cutting company and they told me it would cost $385 with 4-6 weeks to deliver. It just seems like a lot of money for a box of wooden sticks and nothing else compared to an ARF of similar size. Am I comparing cheap Chinese labor from overseas to our American labor costs and what it's really worth? I dunno. I buy decently priced wood from Balsa USA and I have an assortment of hand and power tools for the hobbist.....I'm goin' for it!!

YEAH it IS alot of money for a box of JUST wood ! IF I new of a GIANT AG- CAT ARF , I would have one ORDERED by now ! FUNNY thing is that while I've been waiting, I've ordered a dozen plans or so and ALOT of wood. DON'T have much on tools though...... And since I had a second set of 90" agcat plans, I blew them up 1/3 more awhile back to see what I was going to get ! And I've been very tempted to cut it MYSELF !Unfortunately I do have a down on it ... ................ AND I'VE already heard about it from my wife ! Most of the cutters I had contacted before wouldn't cut from enlarged plans. they don't want to adjust wood sizes ................... WHAT are the ODDS on me getting one of THESE AG WAGON ARFs ?????????????????

Hang in there!!!! You'll get an AgWagon for sure. As far as the AgCat goes it comes down to this...either spend big bucks to have one cut OR get some wood tools and and get busy. There are no ARF's out there and possibly never will be. Most folks just don't see any beauty in this plane and sales would be terrible in the ARF market. The experience in building one of these fine model aircraft will have you wanting to change your name to 'anotherbuildpilot'!!

crashpilot- I say at this rate go ahead and get some wood tools and get down to business! Because I see in your future another Ag aircraft coming in around late fall that will need your attention. So wadda ya waiting for!?!? Let the sawdust fly! Oh and take plenty of pics of the build.
