Was surfing RCUNIVERSE and happened on this forum about the AG Wagon. I have skipped through the posts with some interest as my father owned and operated AG Wagons in Australia some years back, and I grew up riding next to him as he went to work(even though it was a single seater!) I notice that the main talk is just about the Wagon which was the first model that Cessna brought out. When my father crashed his Wagon (hit a tractor, fence post, hill and tree stump in that order) he baught the lastest model then new, the AG TRUCK. It looked almost identical but had a few minor improvements which from memory was increased wing dihedral, larger hooper, and better visibility. There was also a model which cessna came out with which had a turbo charger called the AG HUSKY. My father's AG TRUCK was also fitted with optional Robinson STOL gear. This was a modification that also lowered the ailerons when the flaps were lowered to further reduce the stall speed. You haven't lived untill your taken a ride in the hooper.

OH Ya! I want one or two for sure!!!! I am going to be one of the first guys to do this as an electric conversion. Size will be no problem. Just finished the top flight stinson reliant 22 pounds and a 100" wing. This will be a cake walk to do the electric conversion on. from Don the electric guy

You would not believe how long that took.................dial up in the country..........way out in the country.........oh well, it's worth the effort to get those out to everybody.

Now, Note the canopy on the fuselage is still under development at this point............but take a look at the corrugated control surfaces..............and the shape and line of the wing is great.........the color scheme looks really scale to me, nice but nothing over the top.............and functioning flaps, I wasn't expecting that...........did you check out the wing fillet????????

I was impressed with the detail Dan was able to add so far.........I hope the fit and finish of the canopy turns out well............that and the landing gear will add a level of realism to this bird that should have us all on our feet.......and remember, almost 100 inches!!!

Dan's hasn't got the prototype in hand yet.............so who knows what engine is going to work for sure.............but..............he says he has a Saito 5 cylinder radial looking for a home and this may be it................nice place to start anyway.........

So, It won't be long now............I can't believe how quick this is coming together........we just started this thread after the Toledo show in early April and here the first Prototype is almost ready for "look see".........Fantastic Job Dan and all the crew at RCGUYS.......

This Thing is Looking Gooooood!!!!!!!!

I take a few days off and go to Potlatch, ID to find myself and when I come back....whoa!!! This thread is exploding thanks to our investigative reporter!! Nice job and well done! All pics are impressive and I won't complain about the color too much...hey, at least it's not yet another RED plane in our hangar. I must say that we're actually at the 'make it or break it' point as the canopy area is crucial to making this plane look good if done correctly. I have faith it will be done correctly because the plane looks flawless so far. Landing gear....not as crucial as long as the aluminum is not too soft. Flaps...part of the scale scheme, can't omit them.
Yea, at this point, could see me buying a couple of these.....and then asking Santa for another
