I recently purchased this radio from another modeler, its virtually new in condition. I only bought TX and no servos or receiver with it.

Finally tonight i tried it on for the first time on my Aerofly simulator, everything works ok except for right ailerons seems to be mixed with gears!, now i tried to program and authorized "N" switch to gears in TX's programming but its not working out on sim, i also tried to find mixing for ailerons with gear, i can't find that either!.

I am not sure what seems to be the problem here but i hope this is not when i want to use this TX on my actual models at the field!, any help will be appreciated, Thanks in advance...

Sammy

Have you tried to setup the TX with an actual model-RX-servos?

More likely than not there is a programming issue with the TX and or the simulator I suspect.

No i haven't as yet, but i will do it in next few days, last night was my first time operating it.

I couldn't understand what you said in bold, can you please re explain it to me.

Do you suspect TX's programmin issue

or

Problem with Sim itself?...

Just so you know i have been using this sim on my Futaba Super 7 TX for months now, its been working perfectly all along.

Your Aerofly simulator may have a programming and or setup issue. Try the TX with a RX and servos and see what happens.

Hi Michael,

Today i did your suggested TX with Rx test on one of my everyday models, initially i had to learn how to set up TX channel with RX channel, it took a bit of reading and finally i got it set up. Secondly i turned the TX on again and then turned on RX switch!, well i got channel 20 that i selected but servos in the model started to jitter crazily and ub-normally!, I am on mode 2 but on left stick there is no throttle signal up or down being received by RX, then as i turned stick to right rudder, ailerons started to work!, plus when rudder stick is pushed to right it jitters in that position with both rudder and aileron in right position!. When i turned stick to left, left aileron gets operated to left and rudder is moved back to center position and jitters!.

Now on right stick there is no elevator up and down signal received when stick is moved in up or down directions, yet when stick is pushed to left and right direction elevator in starts to move up and down!.

I am going through instruction booklet but seems as i have to calibrate all servos and enter flight phases in assignment programming section of TX, its very complicated set up as its turning out to be, what can you help me with. I need help and support for setting up first model then once learned i will ok with second or 3rd set ups in future. Can you also tell me what am i doing that is not right.

Thanks in advance.
Sammy

Props4ever- Sorry! While we try to help people as quickly as possible, we can't always get here everyday.

The throttle function has to be assigned to the left stick, unless you select an assignment list that already have it assigned.

All this and more is explained in the Tutorial:

I am a three year user of a Multiplex Evo 12 and I am having trouble getting a 12X Syn receiver to set.

I am doing the following:

1) Turn TX on.
2) Hold RX set button down.
3) Turn Rx on.

All it does is blink and not take the freq from the TX. It just keeps flashing.

The RX is NIB.

RX Batt full charge.

Any help will be appreciated.

Bo

Martin,

Thank you very much for your reply.

My Tx works fine with all my other Mplex Rx's. Could it be the receiver since it is new? I have six Rx and no problems. Do I perhaps need to try resetting the factory defalts.

This Rx is going in a TF Cessna 310 so it needs to be right.
