Pet hate next - the canopy!! I hate canopies at the best of times but fitting this 3ft one was "fun". Fortunately, thanks to the help from my wife, all the glue stayed where it should and all seems well as it dries. Next step is to fit the canopy frames to the outside of the canopy.

Hi Mark thanks for the pics as i have just started to put together one for a friend of mine, any hints or tips would be very helpfull keep the pics coming thanks once again regards Keith Whiddett ps spoke to Ali who says that 8711 are overkill and use a lot of power but we all chose what we feel happy with.

Hi Keith,

No probs. Just ask if you have any questions. The CD has a load of pics that start to slot into place after several sittings! Trickiest thing so far (as ever for me) has been the canopy.

As for 8711s, agreed but I'd rather overkill than under do it! As for using a lot of power, well I'll take my charger with me

More pics soon.

Rgds,
Mark

Inconel,

Yes, the whole canopy/frame is tricky. I am doing the front frame at the moment!! How did you do it? Any tips or tricks I should know??

Your model looks great! What was the final weight of yours?

Rgds,
Mark

Well, I'm pretty much done.

Got to rub the whole airframe back, do a little filling here and there. She's off to the paint guy in 2 weeks time so should get it done in time.
