OK, the cockpit is proving to take as long to build as the rest of the d**m plane!!

Anyway, I think I have worked out how to screw it all together so I can get it in and out - various bit cut/glued/hidden etc but I'm well chuffed! I fell of my seat when they told me the price of the cockpit kit but I reckon it'll be more than worth it once completely finished!

Pics.....

Hi John,

My paint man did it for me!! I don't the secrets - all I DO know is that he does one rivet at a time and it takes a LONG time

Worth every penny in the end I think tho!!

Rgds,
Mark

Thought I would post a pic of a surprise Xmas present from the wife.

She secretly arranged to have a large canvas painted of my Skygate hawk in its Indonesian scheme by the guy that actually painted my Skygate Hawk.

Has now taken pride of place in the workshop. Hope to see my Hawk in the same flying state soon!

Rgds,
Mark

Mark,

Great belly cannon pics. Please let me what the total added "finished" weight is for the cannon. I would like to put the info up on my website for the customers that keep asking. Looks fantastic on your Hawk!!!

Thanks,

Dan

Hey Dan,

Looks good eh?!

Will weigh it tonight and let you know. It is a LOT lighter than everyone expects when they pick it up!

Need to get a few more bits off you to really finish her off!

Speak soon,
Mark

Dan,

Painted and ready to bolt on, the AUW is 12oz. Not bad for a 3ft long cannon

Rgds,
Mark

Dear Mark,

Today, I just ordered my Skygate Hawk. Did you fly it yet? How was the building, was it hard? I ordered mine on step#3 I hope I can save some time in the building process. I hope you do not mind tell me how many servos did you used and what number and what other stuff you putted in the jet. I heard they just give a few pics and NO detailed intruction manual. please reply
Thank you
