I recommended a friend to you for business a couple months back. He has purchased I believe 3 planes to date. His last order # yhst-17210252890263-9199 has a very severely damaged firewall. The glass around the entire front of the fuselage is cracked and unfixable. He tried to call and talk with one of the staff there at Nitro Models and was told they would issue him a $15 credit. This is not satisfactory due to the plane in its current state is unusable. Please take care of this for him, I have recommended your company to many people at my club and I would hate for him now to go back and tell them not to order from you. I personally know what a good job your doing but he on the other hand is feeling differently.

The attached pictures are from order yhst-17210252890263-21916 from Nitro Model R C Planes which looked like it had been kicked to Cincinnati. Although this is not the fault of Nitroplanes, I would expect a replacement cowl for my purple Ultimate.

BTW, I maidened my OV-10 Bronco last weekend and was thrilled with it. The quality of that model is awesome. Instruction manual needs some work though!

Six months ago I purchased a forty sized corsair paying extra to have the retracts installed in the wing. The wrong wing was sent with the retracts thrown into the box as an afterthought, the wrong retracts to boot. Nitro models continually gives me the run around when they answer me at all, which is very rare. They don't return phone calls, you get someone to answer the phone I can never get a satisfactory answer to the problem. The last reply two months ago was send back before a refund might be considered, since I paid for this plane before it was sent I would like my credit card refunded before I take a chance on returning this plane and not getting any more replies. What I really would like is the correct wing sent with the retracts installed.

Nitrostaff,

I just recently got a replacement wing for my .46 size CMP P40 and the lettering colors are opposite from the right wing now. The top of the right wing has white lettering and now the top of the new left wing has black lettering. The rivet stickers are also missing on the bottom and the lettering says two different things! The color of the gray on the bottom of the wing does not match either. Whats up with that? Will you check into it? My zip code is 93312 and name is Daniel Reno i cannot find the order numbere but I'm sure you still have my credit card purchase info. I just got it about 2 weeks ago. Can I get a match for the right side or get another left that will match or a new set of wings so we will know for sure that they match? I moved this post from the other thread hoping Nitrostaff gets it. Obviously, it's not getting attention in the other thread.

A part damaged in shipping from April 16th is still not replaced. Nitro models is not a good place to by RC planes if you want service. The note below is one of the many that I have sent to them with no results.

What can I say. Nitro models continue to send me e-mails that say they are going to send me a replacement canopy that was damaged in shipping and then I wait, and wait and wait. I am not impressed with your service or the fact that my new plane is sitting on the bench rather than in the air. Our club president just sent around a copy of the latest e-mail sale advertisement for nitro models. It would probably be best if I sent around an e-mail telling them of my difficulties with you so that other members in the Okanagan Valley and in BC don’t purchase a model expecting good support like you advertise.

When are you going to do what you say you are going to do?

Thanks John! I used the tracking number you sent but it appears that it has not shipped. It just says billing has been accepted. Does that mean it's still at your office?

By the way Nitromodels, I think you guys have a great potential to gain a place in the RC modelers hearts but the complaints I hear from people lately aren't good for business. I also hear good things too but with my own experience, you guys need to step it up a little bit. Not only with the quality of your products (great looking models) but the most important is Customer Service.
In my line of work, my customers always comment on how good my companys customer service is and how prompt they get back to the customer on issues. They also like it when we tell the truth. If we don't have something available we tell them it will be a couple of months instead of a couple of weeks and keep them waiting for 2 months. They hate liars.I know there are alot of complainers and stuff but if you can have more parts for your planes available on hand and step up the Quality on your airplanes and also get back to your customers. For instance, making the correct CG information on the manuals for both sizes of airplanes and not just one printed for the 120 size and throw that in with the 46 size. Alot of planes were lost because of this practice and now you have lost quite a few customers because of a simple shortcut on printing one manual for 2 sizes of airplanes. Again, I love the detail on my P40 and can't find that on any other .46 size warbird so I plan on purchasing more of your warbirds because they look great in the air and on the ground!

Me and others ask that you step up the customer service, and quality and you will have greater success. I look forward to buying more of your products. I am in no way slamming you in this thread! It is just a suggestion rant.

Hi John:

I just received the two Edge 540's I ordered....the 25 size(Aeroshell/blue) and the 50 size(orange /black). Only issue is the manual that was in the box for the 50 size is the same manual that was in the box for the 25 size...both manuals are for the 25 size. Can I get the 50 size manual shipped to me? There are some differences between the models so I am not that comfortable constructing the 50 with the 25 manual. Besides that both models look fantastic and arrived safely. Thx
