Thanks John!

You restored my confidence in Nitro Planes. Looking forward to the tracking number and new canopy.

I replaced them with same cell, volt and amp, whent to fly and the recommended engines smoked trying to lift the plane off the ground.

BTW: After checking into this, the usual reason for the engines to "smoke" is that the ESC timing is off, while the current draw is too high and the plane is at higher throttles.

E.G. this is something the pilot has to be mindful off and take care of.

This is something you need to set up with the ESC programming. There was a good article on this in Quiet Flyer Magazine this month.

I purchased the Purple Brushless Electric Ultimate BiPe ARF 11/29/2006, RefID: 125783. It came with a damaged cowl, I emailed a picture and got this reply. "We do not have the cowl right now for the electric bipes, but have ordered some from the manufactuer. Can you use the one you have right now and wait until we get that? Or, if you can fix it, we can offer a $8 credut for it." I opted to wait for a new cowl. When it had not showed up by April, I emailed again and had to send the picture again. The new cowl came 5/3/2007 and was damaged worst than the original. The cowl was packed with very little packing in a box just a little bigger than the cowl. I sent a picture of this cowl to Norman, but no reply so far.

Nitromodels Staff,

I ordered a CMP Cessna .50 about a month ago and I just found out that the front windshield won't fit on the fuse. I have some pics attached in my assembly thread if you need to look at them.

See pictures in this thread. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_6065502/mpage_3/tm.htm

Thanks.

John, I am one of the unlucky few! I recieved my Double Trouble P-51D today (order number 214566). Upon close inspection I found that a large number of the ribs are broken inside of the wings. It appears that the wings were crushed causing these rib center sections to break. Both wing halves of the wings have these breaks and missing wood. One is cracked as far back into the wing as I can see. I do not trust these wings with this much structural damage and the only way they could be repaired would be to complete remove the covering and fix each rib. I do not have the covering material to make this fix. I have included some pictures to show the damage. Better packing would solve this problem as the wings were packed against the outside of the box. Any weight on the box would crush the wings causing this damage. Large print on the outside of the box (DO NOT CRUSH) would also help, however, I know how roughly freight is handled. Stanley Wilson.

ok Thanks for the pictures. I've already let the CMP know this issue and they are fixing it for me by sending me new windshield. I'll mail that to you once I get it.

Thanks
John

Hello. About a month ago, I purchased the Yak .50 off of Raidentech.com because your site was sold out. It did not come with a decal set. Was it supposed to or do I have to buy that separate (as I see them on your website)? As I understand, RaidenTech is an affiliate of Nitro Models, but if not, please tell me and I will contact them instead.

Thanks!

John, I'm the guy two posts back who had the damaged wings on the Double Trouble P-51. I just got an email today that is a carbon copy of my original order stating that I had ordered the same plane that was to be shipped today. I didn't order a second plane! I hope I'm not being billed for one. I thought just the wings were going to be replaced. Stanley Wilson (Original order number 214566)
