I recently ordered and received a T-34 Mentor via Nitro Models. It did not include a Users Manual so I called support and got images emailed to me. It was missing a few pictures.

Now that I got started building I find that the land gear wire is about 1/4" thick and won't fit the wing slots or control arm for the nose wheel. The nose gear wire doesn't have the spring loop in it either and there's no way the wheels will fit these wires either.

I emailed support and was told to call, after on hold for over an hour I spoke to someone, explained the issue and he said they would ship me replacements. That's been over 2 weeks ago. I emailed support asking for a status and haven't heard a word from anyone.

I'm at the point of going out and purchasing 3rd party landing gear and making that fit, but when I do, it will mean the absolute last time I purchase from Nitro Models/Nitro Planes.

Any way you can help me out?

If the gear is THICKER than the provided holes COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS!

You can usually drill or ream out the required sized holes. Many ARFs do this. You end up with a BETTER fit this way.

I wouldn't worry about the sping loop either. I sometimes purposely remove these on many planes...

With the thicker wire, the loop will not give anyway.

If you can post a pic so that we can see what you do.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT THE NEWLY DESIGNED YAK 54 50CC. WHEN I OPENEND THE BOX AND WAS INSPECTING THE PARTS I NOTICED THAT THE COWL WAS CRACKED, THE REST OF THE PLANE WAS FINE. I just received my order, P-51 Mustang "Maria", and the skirts for the retracts do not match up with the plane. Must be the wrong skirts. Thank God this is not my first model, or I would be in a world of hurt with the manual. I am very happy with the plane overall. Was shipped quickly and well packed.

Hi,

I have had an item shipped just recently and the inside of the fuse is broken, in a place where it is hard to repair. i had emailed right away and gotten the following answer:

Dear Customer,


This email is regarding NitroPlane order number yhst-17210252890263-28994.

10/11/2007 7:52:27 PM a piece of wood was broken inside the fuselage. It is hard to get to to repair and I was wondering if you could send out a new fuselage.

I would hope this is not the way you treat customers. Since the part is defective right out of the box you should replace it IMHO.

I ordered a brushless motor and it was faulty. I returned it forr replacement and received the same one back. I then called the support line and was told that the correct replacement would be sent. I was told it was sent on July 9. I have still not received it and my emails are now being ignored. The last email I received said:

Dear Customer,

BrushlessMotor_BM2040 reshipped and the Tracking number is LC285456916US.

What is happening? Am I ever going to receive this part?
