Hi,

Over the last month, I've called twice and chatted online once with some of your support team who have promised that this would be taken care of, but nothing has happened yet as far as I can tell. Amy (on chat) told me over a week ago that someone would respond to me via email, and that hasn't happened either.

I purchased a LongEZ 46, online order #yhst-17210252890263-46528, and found that it has some defective parts. I called and was promised that a new fuselage, front wing, elevator, and the bar that ties the elevators together would be shipped to me. I got a shipping notification about a replacement order #383397 scheduled to be delivered 19 Jun 2008, but it always said "billing information received" and was never shipped. I tried to call, but couldn't get through, then sent an email, then weeks later did online chat support and was promised someone would email me back and ship the parts.

You keep telling me I'll get replacement parts, but I see no indication that anyone is making that happen. In my last email I also listed some other parts that were mismatched:

4 nylon wing bolts with no grip (unthreaded portion)
3 wheel collars for the nose gear (these are smaller than the rear axles)
3 wheels of the proper size (rear axles are ~5mm diameter, front is ~3.5mm or 11/64"

Full details can be found in my email to you dated 14 June 2008, subject: "Order #46528 - Defective parts for Long-EZ 46 ARF". Please let me know what is happening. I would just like to receive the kit that I paid for.

Thank you for help!

I can send these parts to you not a problem. Need a little pointer here: can you point out these parts on the manual so I can get into it.

John,

I appreciate your help in this matter. The manual is actually on a CD but I did print it off so I can give you the page numbers.

The left and right wheel well inserts are pictured on page 2 step 1.
The 2 balsa parts and plywood mounting tray for the retract servo are pictured on page 3 step 5 <Landing gear servo>.
The plywood servo tray that goes in the fuselage for the throttle servo has a very poor diagram on page 7 step 17 <radio equipment>.

As you know, the instructions for these planes are minimal and this is the best I can do to help you. THe internal structures of the wing and fuselage appear to be identical to the 2 Miss Marie Mustangs that I purchased from you last summer. Perhaps that will help in acquiring the proper parts.

BTW, it does appear that the manufacturer is throwing the wrong parts bag into the box of this particular model of the 60-90 size Mustangs. It is supposed to come with a 450cc fuel tank which is standard issue for a 60 - 90 size model but the one supplied is only 248cc and the motor mount is too small for even a .40 size engine!! This has been reported by at least 3 other modelers on another thread here on this plane. I know this isn't your fault but perhaps you could pass this info along to the people who might be able to control that??

Thank you for your help. If you need more info please contact me.

John,

Today I received the new landing gear for my CMP Extra 300S 140 size. Only problem is, it's not the right gear. It's about an inch and a half too narrow and almost an inch shorter. The box says it for the Extra 300 140 size, but it sure doesn't match the gear I'm replacing.

Here's my order number: yhst-17210252890263-48943

Could you please look into this and tell me what I need to do to get this fixed? It;s one of my favorite flyers, and hate to have it idle. Thanks.

ok sorry about this.

will send the correct one today. I've opened a new unit and compared the landing gear against the one I shipped to you and they match 100%. I know I sent the correct one this time for sure.
