As far as I know, the Zombies are NOT 40-size, whereas the Axial BL's are, so that would mean you CANNOT use the two together...

So will it fit Axial Beadlock???

On the Tower Hobbys website it states that you need glue for these Axial Beadlock Rims.. Isn't the whole big deal about these Rim is not to use glue at all??
See below direct for the notes at Tower

REQUIRES: Tires
Tire glue DTXR2000, DTXR2002

NO - Zombies will NOT fit the Axial beadlocks.. In general, for MT's, you have two size groups for wheels: MAXX(normal) and 40 series(wider). The Zombies are the former, the Axials the latter, so no chance..

Maximizer Beadlocks.. I think the X75 with half offset look cool.. Tower has them. That's a popular bashing combo BTW..

I personally would get some Proline offset dish rims (17mm hex) and dye them black. Would keep things light - less strain on the drivetrain, more speed, etc... Maximizers have a rep for being heavy... But if they have to be bead-lock AND MAXX size, then Maximizer it is..

Most intelligent comment on this whole post! Yes big tires and heavy rims IMO are not the way to go as they are HEAVY!

Another bad thing about beadlocks is the fact that they use lots of little screws 10-24 sized mostly. If you get the aluminum rims those are expensive and bend easy and if you get plastic ones youll most likly strip out the screw holes sooner then later. You can fit them with helicoils, but that adds more weight. They are quicker for changing tires though.

Those Zombies are cool tires. If you want to save some big dough, bid on these. That price is for all 4 tires.

Isn't everyone saying that the tires are too heavy?? Or those tires combine with the rims that are beadlock are too heavy

It's hard to find a good bashing combo that's not heavy.. I've heard the Maximizer rims are heavy, so I for ex. would lean toward using them with lighter tires like Dirt Bonz.. With the Zombies I'd try a lighter rim, like a dish rim. Dyed black dish rims look cool.. They're cheap too.. Proline has some offset dish rims with 17mm hexes.. I have the Ofna offset dish rims, but the offset is too wide IMO...

That's all just my opinion though.. If you're set on the Maximizers and Zombies though just go for it.. Lots of people seem to rave about that combo.. And it definitely looks great..

From my experience, non-racing tires are going to be heavier because they have more rubber on them and they tend to be a bigger tire and that in turn adds weight. Racing tires weigh less, but aren't as "durable" when it comes to bashing. Not to say you couldn't use racing tires to bash if you wanted to.

Zombies will fit on 40 series tires you will just have a small side wall. I have heard of a few guys that have done this and supposedly it looks real good. When I get my beadlocks in a week I am going to get a set of zombies in the future and put them on just to show you guys.
