It looks like Graupner are going to relaunch the Kwik Fli! Available in the UK later this year, I'm not sure about the US. It's an ARTF so not for the purist but worth a look.

Yes, there was some discussion on the forum about it awhile back. There were some comments about the inverted engine mount and odd wing tips. Home Hobby Solutions makes a Kwik Fli III reproduction kit that is excellent http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_4221047/tm.htm

I obviously missed the remarks about Graupners new version of the Kwik Fli. I totally agree, Jeff's kit is far superior I bought one when he released the kit but so far I haven't had time to start the build. I have an RJL K61 that you recommended (Sheldon Hobbies) waiting to put in it, it was a steal at the present exchange rate if you live in the UK!

Thanks
John

The Quick Fli III is a great aiarplane, but I for one would not pay 200 bucks for an ARTF. I prefer to build my own. I built an original Gruapner QF III back in the early 70s when I lived in Germany, loved it and flew it to death for 4 years until it just litterly fell apart.

In the UK the the Kwik Fli will retail for about £75 which is quite good for an ARTF over here, $200 is a little steep!
