Bob,

On the JETT website there is a picture showing Cam Webbs LR-1 with a BSE35 , I have the same set-up but am haveing issues with the muffler (red) ,
From the best i can make out the muffler needs an extension to get enough drop to clear the bottom of the fuse
What did Cam use for an adapter , was it angled slightly ??? i spoke with Dubb and he recomended to use this web site , maybe some one can help me out , I'm sure this has been asked before

Thanks , Grant .

Hi Grant,

Thanks for writing.

I looked back in my notes and a few photos. Apparently there is a short extension, with some additional angle cut into it.

However I do not have the details on hand at the moment. I will try to find out a bit more.

Bob

Thanks Bob,

Your pic clearly shows the small angled piece , this is easy to knock out and adapt ,

Out of couriousity any idea on how quick Cam's LR-1 was ?

Thanks again Grant

I don't have anything specific in my notes... but I know it was "quick".

No QM40 speed, but definately moving.

Prop choice has everything to do with the performance. Everything from the 7.4x8 QM40 prop , APC 8.5x7, and 8.8x8.5 are fair game.

Also the regular 9x6 is a good starting point.

Ok... I checked,

Dub can provide the angled extension - you can order it online - note you want the BSE35 angled "toni" extension

Or, alternately, if you have the capability, it is not a difficult piece to fabricate.
