This is a great little toy if you have a spareaircraft engine hanging around..... it took me a week and it was flying!
Its made out of a sled that i bought from wal-mart.
then just got a powerfull .46 FX and straped her on ( With a few little other steps as well)....
It runs good on grass, and is a ball on snow....I clocked it with a speed radar that i had and it was about 65 mph... i had to slow down( didnt have enough weight in the from after putting 2 lbs already!.

here it is

I think someone is suffering from cabin fever....

How is that thing going to fly without ailerons? Or did you miss thie Boats forum?

Looks like good winter fun though. Do you think it would work on water?

20 mph and flour the throttle when i hit the water.....but id rather not loose my electronics

p.s. i couldnt find the boat form!
i looked and looked..

ive had another airboat made of a body board that you use at the Beach.....worked great until the throttle got stuck ( on full power!)
all i have to say is >what a adventure it was< until i smashed it into a rock bank in the pond in my backyard!
The bad thing it was hard foam and totaly crushed and cracked through the center on impact....what a bummer.

airboat are fun, they can go just about anywhere!.
also if you have an extra aircraft engine they can be cheap to make.
