I own a revo and i would like to upgrade my radio. But I don't race, so I don't know if it is "too much" for what I want to do(bash and just drive around the yard).

Answer is a resounding NO! The React is NOT too much for your revo remember the React is the only radio on the market with a high speed USB cable that can also be used as a game controller, its better then my high end PC controller.

For bashing the temp and the timer can help with running by yourself you can set the pit timer so you can come in and get gased up before you run out. The temp can keep you out of trouble as well. All good there!

I would say that compared to what $300 got you in a radio say 5-6 years ago, the React is a steal!! Heck.....for that matter.......compared to what $300 get you in a radio TODAY!!

I've got a few r/c's and just bash. I just got a react recently and I love it! Super light, comfortable, performance, upgradeable and the best part... no antenna in my face!

At first or acutally still do feel like its too much for my expertise in the hobby but then again I want the best and the bundled features lurred me in . ordered mine just recently from unlimited engineering and I cannot wait. Before purchasing the react I did a good amount of research and trolling through websites and found some usefull infos & how too's . Also Read some owners frustrations but mostly high remarks from the majority. overall I think Im going to have fun with this unit, if not I already have nomadios number on speed dial on my phone.

You'll always use the features... I'd rather have the features and not use them then to need them down the road and not have them and go looking for a new radio....

I have a coupon for either a free temp sensor or $20 off a case... Click on my link and when you register your react there'll be a box for the referal code, enter it and decide what you want....

It all depends on what you need. I just wanted something that would give me the ability to start my car and go, without cheking other people frequencies first. I also wanted to avoid runaways and damages caused by interference.

I have no use for the thousand features of the React. I do have a good use for the $110 I saved by buying the Futaba 3PM

Futaba 3PM 3-Channel 2.4GHz $189.99
Nomadio React RC Controller $299.99

Both choices you have is what i had originally had in mind Rcar. I do understand your point though and I bet you will be happy with your pick plus your $100.00 hehe. I paid well...visa paid for my react and got it out the door $285.00 taxed & shipped which is a darn good deal.

1. That website charges $68 for shipping!!! Yeah, I would propably have to be a fool to buy it from there!
2. It doesn't even say if they provide international shipping. Imagine what would that cost!
3. I never shop from websites that don't give me a sense of professionalism.
4. Don't even get me started on you. If that really is your website, since you have the same username, then this is really not the reply of a professional.

I think I'm already deep enough in the hobby, and believe me, a bashing Revo does not need the nomadio. Maybe if you have cash laying around and don't know where to spend it, then it's OK.

Its fine by me to let the world know about your site, no need to be an A hole when you do it. If all your customers are fools in your eyes your business life will certainly be a short one.

Using a Nomadio on a basher is no different than all the bling that gets added to them.

The use of punctuation marks helps. Man, that was hard to make out.

Go over the features, as well as the features of other popular radios.

I really like the React, but I wouldn't buy it if I only had one car. The Hitec SRX is a great radio for the price, as is the Futaba 3PM.

However if you plan to add more to the collection in the future, or just want the best the react is a fine choice.

He refers to the Speed Sensor, that you can get as an Option for the Nomadio React.
Using the Speed Sensor with the React will give you Real Time Speed information on the display of the React.
You can also get several Temp and Voltage sensors, that is one additional advantage/bling factors on the Nomadio Radios.

Most good radios offer the very same functions, the React having a little more.
I too only bash, but I find some of the race grede features in my 3PK (one of the high end radios on market) indispensible. For example, I use ABS to better control hard stops and braking while in turns, I use the exponential curves for the steering and I use the custom exponential curve for my throttle/brake servo. I even fiddled with the mixing function as well.
As you buy more models, the capability of multi-model memory will really shine as well.
Eventually, you will want to experiment with the functions you initially ignored and will see how they improve your bashing experiences.

I wanted to say these are good guys to deal with. I had some issues ordering through the website but they are very quick to answer PM's. I sent them the funds through paypal and they shipped out the radio very quickly.

If you are looking for a good deal I don't think you could beat this one.
