Is it normal for the axel cup to rub on the hinge pin? Having trouble putting buggy back together. What would cuase this to happen? If I am assembling it wrong what am I doing wrong to cuase this to happen?

Do you have the rear diff assm. bolted on the chassis? sometimes the outdrives will rub a slight bit when the assm. is off the chassis, but once you attach it to the chassis it should be fine... if you are still having problems let me know...

They ride very close to the hinge pins all the time, mine even has some slight grooves on it from rubbing a bit. everything looks ok to me. are they binding?

Yes those are the only instructions they are the same ones that come with the car. what hobby shop did you buy it from? they should be able to help you out. Its much easier for them since they can see it up close and lay thier hands on it. or you can call us as well, we are always here to answer questions.
