Yeah, this one is quite a bit easier (in terms of details) compare to the tank..

I think I will build this one up for the instant gratification..

Still, it is much more involved than a typical bash type RC!

Yeah, my parents are still here, so I don't get to do RC much.. I am sure the semi will still not be done a month from now.. LOL!

But it is a much quicker project compare to the tank.. not mechanically, but the detail parts on the body.. the tank was almost like a static model.. (hundreds of small parts, etc.)

The semi is very complicated, but the body does not have those tiny tiny parts, photo etched parts, etc. So it is a quicker build in that sense..

Anyway, I'd suggest a 2 tone color? Not as boring as one color. I'd do the cab, bonnet, and sleeper one color, then the skirts and bumper another color, a neutral one, like gray, tan, etc.

Jezz, metallic paint on a semi=not too cool IMO. At least, don't do it on the running boards, pleaaase!

I suggest the chameleon color shifting paint. You also need a front bra for the truck that looks like big teeth.

No idea man.. as I don't have the "original" ones.. (none were included in the kit.. only this separate bag that is supposedly "new" version..)

Looks like the grub screw were slightly longer (compare to the kit parts).. and the shaft on the bevel gear is pretty dark shiny color steel.. (looks pretty tough..)

I doubt I will break it anyway.. this is not the type of RC that I would been landing jumps and having mis-matching wheel speed.. LOL!
