I have locked the centre diff on my CEN GST 7.7 and I quickly realized that I have to buy a wheelie bar. Does anyone know where I can buy one, or any other kits I could modify to fit the GST? Any pics would be nice.

New Era Hobbies has a wheelie bar for the Genesis series trucks. There are lots of aftermarket parts for these truck, contrary to popular belief. Just have to do a Google seach for CEN Genesis parts

Hey Guys what's up! I too am planning to lock up my diff. eb what kind of parts am I lookin' to replace after doing so? Oh yeah new era just about has it all in wheelie bars, roll cages, light kits, etc...

is there anyone who actually has the new era wheelie bar fo the gst? in the pic it looks pretty short does this thing actually work? i have my center diff locked and have yet to break anything in th rear of the truck but i keep breaking the front drive cups. i think it is because the front tires are spinning fast when it wheelies and then they slam down to the ground when it comes out of the wheelie. i made a custom wheeli bar but cant seem to find the right angle.... and NO my truck didnt wheelie on demand before the center diff but it sure does now!!! i want a wheeli bar so the thing will stop flipping over! ya, completely stock when you punch the throttle with the center diff lock installed the thing will flip right over on its top! massive amounts of power!!

This wheelie bar is not recommended. I am still looking around for the real thing. It's not made thick enough and always bends upward. Since they do not provide longer bolts to fix the wheelie bar to the truck, the treads to not have sufficient grip in the plastic for disassembly/reassembly. Since the aluminum bends so easily, you end up removing it to put it back in its original shape.
Since I locked the center diff, I had to replace the rear shaft and dif input cup.

A few pictures, ForeverNitro you are right, it's too short. Even with the bar the truck still flips.

Not to get off the wheelie bar topic but the 7.7's reign as the biggest big block on the block is almost over come next month when Team Associated releases it's MGT 8.0!!! Yes 8.0!!! I know it's only .3 of a cc difference but still, this thing is sick and apparently there's no center diff to lock up the diff might be locked up right out of the box as it boasts massive wheelies at will and also has it's own roller wheelie bar as standard equipment. Does any one know more about it? In the meanwhile, I'll do some more diggin' for a more suitable wheelie bar for the 7.7's.

I know that a bigger engine is more power. But isn't the whole big engine thing getting crazy. I mean. I saw a .91 engine. I mean that probably has a half a liter tank!

eb549 can you give me the diameter of the threaded rod used in the new era wheelie bar i am in the process of designing an indestructable wheelie bar and need those dimensions because im still probably going to use the new era tires they seem pretty durable compared to other tires that size once i get it finished i will send you one if you like to try out. here are some pics of what i have so far... sorry about the crooked cuts i cut it with a hand saw at college ( plan on remaking with ban saw later so there straight)the wheels are just some old sliding door rollers a got from lowes now you can see why i want to put some actual wheels on it i think the 90 degree steel will hold the threaded rod better than the coupler with the two screws in it that new era has those screws look like they could break pretty easy the metal brace going to the bumper has been proven to not allow the metal to bend and i think i have just the right length so that the truck will not flip over but i plan on making it adjustable as you can see with the multiple screw holes in the bottom and then i would just make different size brace plates hope you like feed back is appreciated
