Just found an old crate of Klotz Benol in my store room. There wasn't any expiry date printed on the bottles. Does anyone have any info on the shelf life? Thanks!

It might be fine. Castor oil could oxidize if exposed to oxygen inthe air, but if it's been stored properly it shouldn't. Klotz told me that if it has oxidized it will not blend as readily, but is OK to use if it does. It will be noticeably more viscous if it has oxidized.

I did get a reply from Klotz and they mentioned 2 years shelf life. Sounds conservative to me.

I agree Mike, two years is a little short. I have used some older than that, maybe 3 or 4 yrs old and it worked fine. Good luck. [8D]
