what did it take to go from the sprint 1 to the 2?

I love my Sprint 1 with oneway in front and locked in the rear.

My drifter has a 19t K-dragon with a LRP ESC
Spektrum Reciever and Servo and a buncha standard equipment, lots of CF and Bling to come!!!

I basically swaped all of the old sprint 1 parts with sprint 2 parts, since the sprint 2's design was based of the a little of the pro4. Like the c-hubs and steering parts. You can put my sprint up against a sprint 2 and look almost the same.

But its still a Sprint 1 in spirit.

I actually got it when it was still available for the hpi pro2. So look around on ebay, hopefully u can find one there. Good luck!
