I am building Pacific Aero Tiger Moth but I don't want to use the wheels that came with the kit - could some one please tell em what size the full scale had or which size to use _ I am tending to the Du Bro Big Wheels 4.5" .

Status: offline 		I built that arf about 3 years ago for a friend-think I used the inflatable Dubro big wheels in 4-4.5" size-they worked out nice. I hope Pac Aero has up graded the hardware by now-I had to redo the pull pull cables and throw out all hardware-clevis broke and/or stripped out on threaded couplers-very poor quality stuff.
Also be sure and iron down the wall paper covering around the firewall-his has almost been recovered from firewall back to cockpit where covering came loose. Plane flys fairly well, just get ready to use plenty of rudder on take off or put some right thrust in the engine mount. His tends to climb like crazy when throttle is applied, but most biplanes have this tendency. We ended up putting in some more down thrust.

Status: offline 		I used a set of 1/4 scale Cub wheels, made hub caps/covers from aluminum sheet....maybe a little wide but they look good....

flipstart - I replaced all coplers and clevises - they were all 2mm Metric stuff, the quality was fine but 2mm Metric in brass is not a good choice for this sort of thing. The build quality of this arf is very good except that the covering is , like you said "Wall paper".
