This project started out as a stock tlt-1 and has come a long ways since then. I started by stetching it out using either Tmaxx or Revo links (cant remember) and I followed that up by modifying the drive cups to take a set of chrome dogbones that I thought would give it a good look. The wheel base now sits at 12.5" in length and 11" in width which makes it a very stable platform. The chassis sits on the semi stock locked axels that have a full bearing set replacing the origanal bushings. The center diff has been replaced with a custom machined center drive gear, and along with that the drive ratio has been pushed as far as possible without moving the stock link mounts. The chassis has remained relatively unchanged due to the fact that I felt the origanal design did what I need it to do. The suspension consist of 4 Tmaxx shocks that are mounted in a way that allows for huge articulation with only 1" of shock travel. The electonics consist of a 10-turn Epic "intense" motor, an AI runner plus esc, 1 Hitech High torque servo, and an airtonics radio system. The body is a proline 1972 chevy C10 that is accompanied by a set of proline Moab tires. Im done messing with it for the moment but I never know how long anything will stay the same. Let me know what you think.

I mounted the battery on the rear axel to try to gain a lower CG ( center of gravity ). the lower the cg is on a crawler the better, and the less likely its going to roll over.
Your suspension looks interesting... how is it working out for you?
You should really try to mount your battery up front. This will help you alot when you are coming over a peak and the wieght has to be on the front wheels.
Oh yea.. If you ever get really serious about crawling then you should get a new chassis, like a SW3. They dominate!

It was a little bit unstable at first but after i did a small amount of tweaking with the shocks as well as the geometry of the links, and now its a very stable and volume efficient system. As far as the battery goes i havent had any issues with its current placement due to the motors high mounting postion. Plus, the chassis has undergone a few changes since these pics were taken. Its now a custom chassis with all machined parts. Thanks for the compliments.

Thats an interesting shock set up you;ve got there. and a 10 TURN!! wow i thought my 27t was too fast, does it have enough torque for you? after a while your gonna wanna ditch that chassis and go with something better and get a stealth or R2 tranny. Good luck with the truck it looks good.
