Greetings!

I have been flying RC for too many years now, recently gas turbines.
I am building a Super Scorpion but have no experience with large airplanes.
http://perso.orange.fr/aviationdesign/superscorpion/superscorpion.htm
They call for two ganged servos per stab using 8kg servos.
The instructions are written in English by French and are not as clear as they might be, but I assume they mean 8 kg/centimeters which works out to 111 oz/in or 222 oz/in per stab.

Questions:
Do these numbers look reasonable for stabs of this size?
What do you think might be reasonable numbers?
Are people still ganging servos or are the new high torque servos ie JR DS8711 enough by themselves.
Are people successful ganging digital servos using matchbox, Weatronics etc?

Thanks for your help, Bryan
