weebeasty,

after the very last reply it will have a string that contains the words starting from the left of the page to the right, it will say....

All Forums>>RC Cars, buggies,Tanks, and more>> RC Tanks>>War Room

You want to click on the words [RC Tanks then at the top left of the forum you cant click New Post and post your question there!

Turn off your tank, pull the battery, open it up inspect all the connection for disconnected or loose wiring plenty of diagrams of how the wiring should look under the FAQ section in the RC Tank area, check you batteries in you controller, are they secure have they gone past 1.4 volts each, replace, but they frequently can not bet seated correctly, get back to us on the RC tanks forum!

Definately check the transmitter. Remove the plastic inserts they supply that go between the batteries. Total waste of perfectly good plastic. All they do is get in the way of a proper battery connections that would the explain problem. My bet is the problem is with the transmitter and not the tank.

Thanks YHR. I'll give it a try. My friends were able to use my transmitter to run their HL tanks, but I will try your suggestion. The power LED on the transmitter also stays lit when I switch the transmitter on. I'll let you know what happens. I even switched out the batteries in the transmitter for brand new ones today and it didn't help. I tried a new set of Traxxas crystals and that didn't help either. I decided to buy the HL Pershing and try my luck with it. That tank should get to me in a few days. If worse comes to worse I'll use the Pantiger for target practice

Do the lights flash when you turn the tank on? It's possible those Traxxas crystals aren't compatible. Did you run the new 27.045mhz FM crystals in your friend's tanks?
