The thing i hate at least with building part is hinging and setting up the electronics. At the field is the pesky neighbors who have nothing to do except complain about our flying. The planes are to loud, your flying to close. They are trying their damnedest to get us kicked off. All the other people around them are fine and love everything we do. Oh well...

The first radio I ever owned was a Heathkit 8 channel. When I got done with that I built their 25" color TV. Man I had a lot of time on my hands back then.

Can you believe I found a FM tube radio Heathkit in my fathers attic a few years ago and got almost $400 for it on the bay. The price was still on the box for $23

What bugs me is that guy who always tells you what you did wrong right after a crash and why you crashed BUT crashes MUCH more often than you ever have... I got one of those

Planes supplied with electric motors that just barley have enough power to keep the plane above stall in level flight.

How about having to buy what you need to complete that plane, radio setup,or critical supplies at three times their actual value from those so-called discount retailer's all headquarted in Champaign, Illinios. Don't you find it disturbing that you can't buy some of worlds best materials, electronics, radio gear, and engines direct from the manufacturer without paying some price fixing distributor.
