Why people do not recomend using a fuel with a differnent nitro content then the one you started with ?
does this make any sense ?

Status: offline 		It's a myth. It comes from the (incorrect) idea that an ABx type piston wears in to match the liner at a certain temperature and that different nitro percents will give different temperatures so causing a mis-match between the piston and liner. Another part to this myth is that when an ABx engine starts to wear out and begin to lose compression then you go to a lower nitro fuel where it'll run cooler and so restore the fit. Call that Myth Part 2 .

In actual fact, once an engine is run in (on any fuel) then you can change fuels all over the place without any problem so long as you retune. If that myth was actually true then you would be wearing out an engine by letting it idle or even running at part throttle let alone running it rich.

Status: offline 		The temprature differance is not that much anyway, running at idle (cool) or full speed (hot), or run ups on the ground (hot), or in the air (cool), make a much larger temperature differance than the amount of nitro.
