Anywhere I could get plans for a 1/2A piper cub? Also, could you use a small pill bottle for a fuel tank?
thanks, jason

Spadtothebone has a cub plan. You could make it to the size you need.

Spadworld has a sticky in the tools, techniques section about building homemade fuel tanks.

Unfortunately there aren't any 1/2A SPAD plans, none that I could find anyway... But, I am currently building a little SPAD that is 24 inches long w/a 35 inch wing span desinged to be powered by a TT GP 07 to a .10 size engine; basically a .07-.10 plane. Here is a pic of what I have built up so far. The step-by-step build process can be found in the "1/2A and 1/8A" fourm here.

I use pill bottles all the time for gas tanks including prescription bottles. I drill a hole where needed slightly smaller than the fuel line I use , then I push fuel line through the hole and then insert a brass or other tube inside the line. It presses against the open hole, and the tube never leaks. If I use a prescription bottle I put clear bath tub caulk / adhesive to seal the lid on. Works great for me, and other than time the cost is very little
